Elster Water Metering Ltd has won a £3 million contract to provide Northern Ireland Water with water meters and meter reading equipment.

The contract includes providing meters for new and replacement installations to support metered revenue and legislative compliance, and to replace meter reading equipment.

Six firms were in the bidding for the contract. The initial contract period is for three years, with a further two possible extension periods of 12 months each.
