Thames Water has gone out to tender for preliminary construction work for pier reconstruction and marine vessel relocations for the Thames Tideway Tunnel Project.
The Contract is structured in two stages for services and works for pier reconstruction and marine vessel relocations for the Thames Tideway Tunnel Project. The scope of works is anticipated to include:
Stage 1 – ECI professional services; and
Stage 2 – Works including construction of a new floating Blackfriars Millennium Pier Blackfriars Bridge foreshore, a new floating pier and relocation of the vessel President – Blackfriars Bridge foreshore and construction of a new floating pier and relocation of the vessel Tattershall Castle – Victoria Embankment foreshore.
Initial value of the contract is estimated at between £3 million to £6.5 million. The duration of the contract is expected to be approximately 18 months - 6 months for the services and estimated 12 months for the works.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 22nd October.
