Southern Water goes out to tender for £multi-million contracts

 

Southern Water has gone out to tender with a £multi-million contract for a clutch of major projects at its Woolston Wastewater Treatment Works in Southampton starting in AMP5 and extending into 2018 in AMP6.

The contract is made up five separate lots consisting of:

Lot 1 – Combined Fat Oil and Grease and Grit Removal Process Plant – for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the combined Fat Oil and Grease (FOG) and Grit removal process plant within the confines of the Woolston WTW

Lot 2 – Lamella – the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the primary settlement lamella tanks and process plant

Lot 3 – Fine Bubble Diffused Air System – design, supply, installation and commissioning of a complete Fine Bubble Diffused Air system

Lot 4 – Membrane Filtration System – design,supply, installation and commissioning of a complete membrane filtration system and process plant

Lot 5 – Odour Treatment Plant – design, supply, installation and commissioning of the complete odour treatment process plant

Starting date for the projects is 1st February 2014 with completion scheduled for 30th September 2018. Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 23.10.2013. Click here to access the tender document in full.
