Yorkshire Water has awarded a multi million pound AMP8 contract for Process Package Plant Framework which provides for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of Process Package Plant to support the water company's capital programmes, including the AMP8 WINEP programme.

Scope of the framework includes the following, together with associated design, commissioning, technical support, training and maintenance services:
- chemical dosing package plant
- water pumping stations
- emergency shower units
The contract was tendered in the following Lots
Lot 1 Chemical Dosing - Design, Supply, Install and Commission
Design, supply, installation and commissioning of chemical dosing package plant, including standardised and bespoke solutions, to support Yorkshire Water's operational and capital programmes.
Lot 2 Water Pumping Stations - Design, Supply, Install and Commission
Design, supply, installation and commissioning of water pumping station package plant, including potable water pumping stations, service water pumping systems and skid-mounted pump sets.
Lot 3 Emergency Shower Units - Design, Supply, Install and Commission
Design, supply, installation and commissioning of emergency shower and eyewash systems in accordance with Yorkshire Water's technical requirements.
The contract was tendered via the Achilles Information Ltd UVDB (Utilities Vendor Data Base) system. The framework agreement will have an initial term of five years, with further extension options of up to three years in total.
Four contracts have been awarded in total with the individual values, excluding VAT, of £8,116,763, £7,495,453, £7,495,453 and £975,992 respectively.
