Test Valley Borough Council has gone out to tender with a contract for mechanical, electrical & water hygiene planned preventative maintenance with an estimated value of £882,000 (excluding VAT).

The contract covers planned preventative and reactive maintenance of mechanical engineering services installations across the property estate owned or managed by Test Valley Borough Council

The appointed contractor shall deliver a comprehensive servicing and maintenance programme throughout the contract term to ensure all mechanical and electrical assets – including water systems – remain safe, efficient, and compliant with statutory obligations and manufacturer recommendations

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029, with a further possible extension to 30 September 2032 subject to satisfactory performance and budget availability.

Deadline for submission of enquiries about the tender is 12:00pm on 30 June 2026 and tender submission deadline is 12:00pm on 17 July 2026. Estimated award decision date is 17 August 2026.
