Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender on behalf of itself and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig with an AMP8 contract for the supply of pumps, pump services, supply and repair of motors & gearboxes with a total estimated value of £55 million including VAT.

The contract is being tendered in 10 separate Lots – the water company is looking to put frameworks in place for:
- Lot 1. End to End Management of Borehole Pumps (£24 million inc VAT)
- Lot 2. Supply of Split Case, End Suction & Vertical Turbine Pumps and Spares (£1.2 million inc VAT)
- Lot 3. Supply of Multistage & Booster Sets and Spares (£1.8 million inc VAT)
- Lot 4. Supply of Progressive Cavity Pumps and Spares (£21.6 million inc VAT)
- Lot 5. Supply of Ram Pumps and Spares (£2.4 million inc VAT)
- Lot 6. Supply of Motors (£4.2 million inc VAT)
- Lot 7. Repair of Motors (£4.2 million inc VAT)
- Lot 8. Supply of Gearboxes (£1.8 million inc VAT)
- Lot 9. Repair of Gearboxes (£1.8 million inc VAT)
- Lot 10. Pump Refurbishment & Repair (£9 million inc VAT)

- Stage 5 - Best and Final Offer
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2032, with further possible extension options up to to 1 January 2037. Estimated contract award decision date is currently 1 November 2026.
Deadline for submission of enquiries about the contract is 5:00pm on 8 May 2026 and deadline for requests to participate is 3:00pm on 29 May 2026.
