The Submarine Delivery Agency has published a pipeline notice flagging up its intention to go out to tender with a contract for the supply of valves and their actuators and associated support services with a total estimated value of £78 million (inc VAT).

Scope of the contract covers the provision of spares, repairs, technical support and Post Design Services for the following types of submarine valves, actuators and their components for all in-service submarines:

• First Level Valves
• Non-First Level Valves
• First Level Actuators
• Non-First Level Actuators.

There will also be a small requirement for valves and actuators for the Royal Navy surface fleet.

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 October 2027 to 30 September 2029 with a further possible extension option up to 30 September 2031.

Estimated publication date of a formal tender notice is currently 10 July 2026.
