EA tenders £96k contract for organisation to act as Responsible Body for Conservation Covenant on flood alleviation scheme

The Environment Agency has gone out to tender with a contract for an organisation to act as Responsible Body for a Conservation Covenant with an estimated value of £96,000 (inc VAT).

The Agency is seeking an organisation to act as Responsible Body for the conservation covenant to register and monitor the habitat being created on the Greatham North East Flood Alleviation Scheme.

The construction phase will start September 2026 and finish two years later, and require 30 years monitoring from site 'activation date'.

Current estimated start and contract dates are 1 December 2025 to 1 December 2055.
