Northumbrian Water has awarded an AMP8 contract for security management services – scope of the contract covers the identification and delivery of a centralised "hub" solution.

The hub solution will cover for the following processes to support the Security Team and the management of their activities within Northumbrian Water's operating region:

• Access Controller
• Alarm Management
• Traffic Access Intercoms
• Gate Management
• CCTV Cameras
• Perimeter intrusion detection system

The contract, which was tendeed as a single Lot, have been awarded to a single supplier, one of five firms who bid for the work. Initial contract term is three yrears with a further extension option of up to two years. No information has been made available about the successful supplier and the estimated value of the contract
