Affinity Water has awarded a number of contracts for its AMP8 capital works framework.

The wide-ranging framework covers the planning, designing, building and commissioning of infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets for the water-only company.

• Lot 1 - Capital Enhancement Works and Lot 2 - Capital Maintenance Works.
• Lot 2 - Capital Maintenance Works

Affinity Water tendered the contract under the Achilles UVDB (Utilities Vendor Data Base) qualification system.

The water company has awarded three contracts under Lot 1 and four contracts under Lot 2. As yet no information has been made available with regard to the successful suppliers appointed to the frameworks.

Affinity Water will spend £2.3 billion over the next five years of its AMP8 2025-2030 investment programme.
