United Utilities has awarded a number of AMP8 framework contracts for its Design Development Partnership as part its work to find long term AMP8 partners over several procurement activities.

The water company’s AMP8 Capital Programme currently has an indicative programme value of around £7 billion. United Utilities expects the spend in future AMPs to continue at these levels and potentially increase further.

United Utilities has appointed Design Development Partners to complement its in-house Engineering function and Construction Partners in the delivery of the company’s AMP8 capital investment plan.

To date United Utilities has awarded three contracts under the framework – no information has been made available as yet on the successful suppliers.
