Southern Water has awarded an AMP8 contract for the maintenance, repair and installation for all its operational instrumentation and control automation (OICA), together with the provision of legacy parts and equipment, worth £157 million.

 The following seven companies have been appointed to the OICA framework:

• Accord Technical Ltd
• Ar-Control Systems Limited
• Bridges Electrical Engineers Ltd
• Ecogenr8 Limited
• Econotech Limited
• Servitech International Limited
• Z-Tech Control Systems Limited

A total of 11 companies were in the bidding for a place on the framework agreement. Initial contract is 4 years with a further 4 years in potential extension options.
