NI Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the supply of metered electricity to its sites worth an estimated £420 million.

The contract is being tendered in five separate Lots:

• Lot 1 Schedule 1 - approx. 4 sites equating to 27% of NI Water load

• Lot 2 Schedule 2 - approx. 22 sites equating to 25% of NI Waters load

• Lot 3 Schedule 3 - approx. 275 sites equating to 36% of Ni Waters load

• Lot 4 Schedule 4 - approx. 2158 sites equating to 12% of Ni Waters load

• Lot 5 Schedule 5 - approx. 90 sites - non half hourly meters

Initial contract  term is 1 year with the option of four further 6 month extension periods.
