Thames Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for commercial and financial advisory services worth an estimated £3 million.

The water company is seeking to engage a Commercial and Financial Advisor to support it in the development of several Strategic Water Resource Options from Gate 3 (developed design, finalised feasibility, pre-planning, etc) through to construction.
The procurement is in response to the Strategic Water Resource Options (SRO) Programme initiated by Ofwat to provide at least 1500 Ml/d of water to areas of England facing a water deficit.
The SRO Programme includes multiple schemes which will be funded and assessed during AMP7 to determine the right portfolio of projects to be selected by Regional Plans ready for implementation in AMP8.
Initial contract term is 3 years, with potential extension options up to a maximum of a further 5 years.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 4 October 2022 – click here to access the tender documentation.
