United Utilities seeks supplier input into enforcement & bailiff services strategy for household customers

United Utilities typically places between 2,000 and 5,000 household customer accounts through a High Court Enforcement Collections Strategy on an annual basis.

United Utilities said that by undertaking pre- market research, it can then evaluate the current market capability and whether it is viable to put in place multi suppliers and multi lot arrangements if market capability vary.

The water company will then use this information to help determine the overall approach and future strategy in relation to an upcoming tender.

Any subsequently procurement will advertised at a later date with a separate notice.

United Utilities has issued a Periodic Indicative Notice–at this stage the PIN is a request for information only.
