Northumbrian Water Group has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for laboratory materials and consumables worth an estimated £3.6 million.

Northumbrian Water Scientific Services own laboratories perform water and wastewater analysis to support the wider business and commercial customers – and require a range of specialist equipment and consumables to facilitate the various analyses they need to carry out.

The contract, which covers the supply of laboratory materials and delivery to the specific site that requires them, is split into 3 Lots:

• Lot 1: General Laboratory Supplies
• Lot 2: General Bottles
• Lot 3: Specialist Bottles

• Howdon Laboratory, Northumberland Dock Road, Howdon, Wallsend, NE28 0QD
• Horsely Laboratory, Water Lane, Horsley, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 0PE
• Hanningfield Laboratory, Middlemead, South Hanningfield, Chelmsford, Essex, CM3 8HS
• Carrigrenan WWTP, Courtstown Ind. Est, Little Island, Co. Cork, Ireland
• Levenmouth Waste Water Treatment Works, Elm Park, Methilhaven Road, Leven, Fife, KY8 3WA
• Leat House, Pattinson Road, Washington, NE38 8LB
