Severn Trent Water tenders £2.1m AMP7 contract for removal, disposal & recycling services for grit and screening

Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender on behalf of itself and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig with an AMP7 contract for removal, disposal & recycling services for grit and screening worth an estimated £2.1 million.

The contract is being tendered in two separate Lots.

Lot 1 covers the collection of screenings from both companies’ sites, delivery to and off loading at suitably accredited landfill sites, or other agreed recycling outlets.

Lot 2 covers the collection of grits from both companies’ sites, delivery to and offloading at Severn Trent Green Power East Birmingham AD Facility at Coleshill in Birmingham or any allocated sites for cleaning and disposal by the utilities.

Initial contract term is 2 years with 3 further annual extension options.
