Scottish Water tenders £24m temporary chemical dosing plant contract

Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract for temporary chemical dosing plant worth an estimated £24 million.

SCOTTISH WATER GENERIC

The water company is looking for a supplier to provide temporary chemical dosing plant and associated services on a pan-Scotland basis. The supplier must be able to supply over 100 sites that currently utilise temporary and seasonal dosing and respond to new requirements as they arise.

Goods and services to be provided under the contract include:

  • Delivery, offload, setup, operation, maintenance as required, and uplift of temporary chemical dosing equipment
  • Technical advice for suitable solutions and applications for chemistry as required
  • Delivery of chemicals into the temporary dosing equipment. This can be the supplier's own chemical supply or chemical supply from the water company’s framework partner.
  • Provision of the above on a reactive basis to Scottish Water Operations, with a secondary, smaller requirement to supply to Scottish Water Capital Investment for planned work.
