United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for monitoring & control, analytics, visualisation and optimisation platform worth an estimated £270 million in total.

The water company is seeking to drive digital transformation, Systems Thinking and improved service by developing its advanced analytics and information management capabilities, using data tools and skills to deliver ethical insight and competitive advantage.
United Utilities now needs to facilitate the processing and analysis of more data in more complex forms.
With increasing complexity and variety of data available and rapid technological development of sensor and data technology, the company’s data and analytics platform must deliver data - analytics democratisation as self-service is a key strategic objective.
United Utilities also wants to create the ability to operate at both laboratory and factory scale to facilitate exploration and innovation to support its longer- term strategic aims.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 10 September 2021 – click here to access the tender documentation.
