Severn Trent has awarded an AMP7 contract for the supply of waste infra network services to itself and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy worth an estimated £504 million in total.

The water company has awarded framework agreements for the provision of 24/7 reactive maintenance, civils and proactive works for its waste infra network including:
- repairs
- cleaning
- installation
- traffic management
- re-instatement
- CCTV investigation
- planning and scheduling
The framework was tendered in the following Lots:
- Lot 1 Customer Reactive Work
- Lot 2 A Proactive Works
In year 1, the allocation of planned works programme will be split 50:50 between Lots 1 and Lots 2.
In addition, a framework of 4 remaining suppliers was awarded on Lot 2 with any additional works generated in year for all allocated suppliers to bid for using mini-competition.
Network Plus Services Ltd and Sapphire Utility Solutions Ltd were both awarded contracts under Lot 1, two of four companies in the bidding for the work.
Both companies were also awarded contracts under Lot 2, together with Complete Asset Life Management Group Ltd, IWJS Ltd and Lanes Group plc, five of nine firms who tendered for the work.
IWJS was appointed as the preferred supplier for Lot 2 (Proactive Services). The contract term will run from 1 April 2021 until 31 March 2025, with further extension options up to a maximum of four years.
