Severn Trent Water tenders £3.57 m AMP7 contract for repair of motors and gearboxes

Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for the repair of motors and gearboxes worth an estimated £3.57 million.

The contract covers the of supply and repair of motors and gearboxes to Severn Trent Water Ltd (STW) and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Ltd and on both water and waste sites and assets.

Types of works covered under the contract include refurbishment, like for like replacement removal and installation of motor and gearbox assets across the area.

The water company is also tendering a contract for the provision of pipebridge surveys and installation of access deterrent measures (ADM) for itself and Hafren Dyfrdwy and on both water and waste sites and assets.

Severn Trent is looking to put a framework agreement in place with either a single or multiple operators, which is being tendered in a number of Lots on a regional basis.

Duration of the framework will be for a maximum of 8 years Initial contract term is 3 years with an options to extend by up to 5 further years in total.
