The Environment Agency's Information and Information Technology (I&IT ) project team is looking to engage with the market place to learn and understand whether there are suppliers who can bring its enforcement IT tools together into a suite of matched modules or single integrated solutions.

In a Prior Information Notice, the I&IT project team has said it is looking to the market for further information ahead of launching a formal £2.3 million tender process in November.
The team already have experience of point solutions for case management, intelligence management, financial investigation, evidence and surveillance management, etc.
They are also aware of a move in the market place to offer more ensemble solutions bringing all enforcement IT tooling into a suite of matched modules and even single integrated solutions.
However, it says it is less sighted on the current maturity of these types of products, and the overall fit with the Environment Agency’s non-police enforcement business with them.
The team is therefore seeking to establish whether this is a credible option to pursue into full commercial evaluation.
