Bristol Water has awarded a number of contracts for AMP7 water network maintenance services in the Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Bristol/Bath region worth an estimated £100 million in total.

The contract was tendered in the following four Lots;
- Lot 1 Water Meter Installation - estimated volumes of activity during AMP7 (2020-2025) are 23 897 installations.
- Lot 2 Water Mains Pipe Repair and Maintenance - estimated volumes of activity during AMP7 (2020-2025) dependent on amount of burst mains and interruptions to supply and leakage.
- Lot 3 Water New Mains Pipe Renovation - estimated volumes of activity during AMP7 (2020-2025) are 20 km per annum.
- Lot 4 Water New Mains and New Supplies (Development Services) - estimated volumes of activity during AMP7 (2020-2025) dependent on the amount of development activity and self-lay providers instructed.
T&K Gallagher Ltd has been awarded contracts under Lot 2, one of six firms who bid for the work and under Lot 4, one of eight firms in the bidding.
Lewis Civil Engineering Ltd has been award a contract under Lot 3, one of ten companies who tendered for the work.
No contracts were awarded for Lot 1 – on the basis that either no tenders or requests to participate were received or all were rejected.
The work was tendered under the Achilles Information Ltd utilities UVDB qualification system.
