International construction and consultancy company Mace, has been appointed as Thames Water’s AMP7 Programme Management Office (PMO) delivery partner.
Mace will help deliver the largest ever water sector capital programme, assisting Thames Water with programme management, quality assurance, business systems and processes and governance and risk.

The water company is implementing an intelligent client model with a client-led PMO for AMP7, requiring a progressive build of in-house capabilities in programme and project management.
Thames Water are moving from an alliance model to develop their internal capabilities and have recognised that Mace can support and supplement their team in achieving this.
Mace’s team will also support Thames Water build its PMO capabilities with a comprehensive transition plan, selection and training of PMO personnel and development of PMO policies and practices.
