IWJS, one of the UK’s leading providers of services to wastewater networks and part of M Group Services, has been awarded a four-year framework contract to support the delivery of asset investigation activity as part of Southern Water’s AMP7 investment programme.
The contract includes an option to extend by a further four years - taking the contract into the AMP8 2025-30 investment period.

Under the terms of the agreement, IWJS will use its full range of expertise to investigate and analyse Southern Water’s asset conditions. The scope of activity will include:
- impermeable area surveys
- infiltration tests
- connectivity survey for sewers
- CCTV surveys and underground asset surveys including, though not limited to, manholes and pumping stations
Christopher Stewart, IWJS Managing Director, commented:
“This contract award is a fantastic opportunity for IWJS and we are very excited to have been selected as an AMP7 delivery partner with Southern Water. This framework expands our portfolio of major water company clients and assists our expansion into the South of England.
“We will be deploying the latest manhole scanning technology to deliver faster, more accurate asset data and we look forward to supporting Southern Water’s focus on delivering first-class customer service to the communities it operates in.”
