Severn Trent Water has gone out to with a contract for inlet screens, screen handling services and parts worth an estimated £20 million.
The water company is tendering on behalf of sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy Ltd – the contract covers both water and waste sites and assets. Scope of work includes refurbishment, like for like replacement, removal and installation across the area
Severn Trent is looking to put a framework agreement in place with one or more suppliers. The contract is being tendered in separate Lots for screens, screen parts, screen handling and parts from a range of manufacturers, including FSM / M&N, Haigh, Ham Baker, Huber, Longwoods, Kuhn and Spirac – suppliers will be able to bid for any Lot.
The framework may be awarded as individual Lots or as a combination of Lots.
Initial contract term is three years with an option to extend for a further five years, making a maximum of 8 years in total.
