Northern Ireland Water has awarded a contract for M and E Services worth an estimated £5 million.
The contract covers maintenance, repair, replacement equipment, spare parts and associated support service for the full range of manufacturer’s high voltage and associated low voltage equipment currently within NI Water’s asset base.
The supplier will be responsible for providing the necessary skilled and unskilled labour together with the necessary materials to carry out the work.
The initial contract will run for 4 years with two further 2 year extension options.
Belfast-based firm Scotts Electrical Services LTD have won the work – one of two companies in the bidding for the contract.
