United Utilities tenders £824m AMP7 network maintenance services contract

United Utilities has gone out to tender with a major AMP7 framework contract for the provision of network maintenance services for its water and wastewater networks.

Services will be split over 3 streams and 9 lots as follows:

Stream 1 Water core

This stream has 2 lots, North (£120m) and South (£120m)

Stream 2 — Wastewater core

This stream has 2 lots — North (£135m) and South (£140m)

Stream 3 — Non-core

This stream has 5 lots and each lot covers the both the water and wastewater networks.

Lot 5 — Water small projects. (£80m)

Lot 6 — Wastewater small projects (£90m)

Lot 7 — Proactive inspection and investigation (£24m)

Lot 8 — Specialist water services (£35m)

Lot 9 — Specialist wastewater services (£80m)

A maximum of 7 Lots can be awarded to any one tenderer.

All contracts awarded under the framework will be awarded for an initial 6 year term, with an option to extend the agreement in 1year increments up to a maximum of 4 years.

Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 21st June 2018, to be followed by an estimated date of dispatch of invitations to tender or to participate to selected candidates of 19th July 2018.
