Crown Commercial Service tenders £150m utilities management services contract

Crown Commercial Service has gone out to tender with a framework contract for utilities management services worth an estimated £150 million.

Crown Commercial Service is putting in place a framework agreement for utilities management software, metering and ancillary services to make full end to end data management services available to its customers. The aim of the agreement is to provide customers with the key data required to unlock savings across their utilities portfolios.

This agreement will cover 3 core areas — metering services for all utilities (Lots 1-7), utilities data management software (Lot 8), and utilities bureau services (Lot 9).

The provision of metering services for water sub-metering, flow meters and data logger hardware including water supply and wastewater sewerage services is among the Lots being tendered.

The framework agreement will be available to be used by UK public sector bodies, including central government departments and their arm's length bodies, non-departmental public bodies, wider public sector, NHS bodies, local authorities, and health and third sector organisations.

Suppliers will be required to provide full national coverage.

Crown Commercial Service is looking to appoint  up to 49 suppliers to the  framework agreement, which will initially run for three years.

Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 18th December 2017 – click here to access the tender documentation.
