Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a major construction work contract for a wide range of water projects worth an estimated £45 million.
The water company is looking to appoint a number of consultants and contractors to a range of framework contracts, which will run for an initial period of 24 months with two further 12 month extension options.
The contract is divided into the following Lots:
- Lot 1 Drainage & Impact Assessments
- Lot 2 Flow and Pressure Testing
- Lot 3 Design Services (for various building and civil engineering projects for capital projects, developer projects and operations)
- Lot 4 Design and Build Services for Civil Engineering and Building Works (for various building and civil engineering projects for capital projects, developer projects and operations)
- Lot 5 Repair & Maintenance Services
- Lot 6 Minor Building Works
- Lot 7 Aquatrine Contract - various workstreams
The Aquatrine contract covers a wide range of services, including risk based management, water & drainage services, electrical & mechanical repairs, tinkering and metering & loggers.
Scottish Water said that all, or selected, workstreams within the Aquatrine contract may also be combined with Lots 1 — 6
