Wessex Water has awarded minor and reactive design services contracts to eight companies.

The successful suppliers will provide support to the Wessex Water in-house design resource and deliver design and engineering support to various business areas within the company. The services will be both planned and reactive.

The contract was divided into Lots - Lot 1 for Reactive and Small Services covers the provision of small packages of design and associated consultancy services.

Lot 2 for the Provision of Resource covers resource to supplement the Wessex Water’s  Design Team — both at the Consultants’ home office and co-located at the utility's offices as necessary.

AECOM Ltd, Long O Donnell Associates Ltd, MWH UK Ltd, Ove Arup & Partners International Ltd, Pell Frischmann Consultants Ltd and  Sweco UK Ltd have all won contracts for both Lots.

Mott MacDonald Ltd and Opus International Consultants (UK) Ltd were both awarded contracts under Lot 1.
