Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the provision of driver plant and CPC training services worth an estimated £2 million.
The framework will involve training requirements at various sites across Scotland. The successful supplier will be required to deliver training to CPCS standards for all new and existing candidates and register them on the appropriate scheme for the relevant plant item.
The contract also covers the delivery of driver CPC training and the development of cost effective contracting and commercial solutions for vehicle and plant training. The supplier will be required to manage and report to Scottish Waters PW&OD Skills Management Team on all training programs.
The water company is looking to appoint a maximum of four suppliers to the framework which will run for up to eight years.
Contract performance conditions include a requirement for bidders to comply with the Modern Slavery Act and operate an ethical supply chain.
