Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for water efficiency product services and courier services worth an estimated £5.9 million in total.
The tender is split into 2 Lots - Lot 1 is for a supplier who can deliver a full service related to the water company’s water efficiency products sent to customers. Services to be provided under Lot 1 include the purchase, storage, fulfilment, distribution, mailing and web management of water efficiency products.
For lot 2, Thames is looking for a supplier who can fulfil ad-hoc mailing and storage requirements from across the business.
Anticipated monthly orders under Lot 1, which is worth £3.9 million, are put at between 5000 to 15000 orders, with the expectation that the web and data management will be set up and hosted/arranged by the supplier. Lot 2 for ad-hoc mailing and storage is worth £2 million.
Any agreement awarded would be based on an initial 3 year term, with two further possible one year contract extensions.
