The Minister for the Cabinet Office, acting through the Crown Commercial Service, has gone out to tender with a framework contract for architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services worth up to an estimated £2.8 billion.
The Cabinet Office is looking to appoint up to 65 suppliers to the framework contract to provide project management and full design team services - the estimated contract value is put at between £1.612 billion and £2.875 billion.
The Crown Commercial Service is putting a Pan Government Framework Agreement in place for use by UK public sector bodies to provide them with project management and full design team services either as part of a multi-disciplinary team or to call off individual disciplines.
Duration of the Framework Agreement is for a two year period with two further 1 year extension options.
The Framework Agreement is being tendered in the following Lots:
- Lot 1 Multi-Disciplinary Services - up to 15 successful potential providers.
- Lot 2 Project Management Services - up to 10 successful potential providers.
- Lot 3 Architectural Services – up to 10 successful potential providers.
- Lot 4 Cost Management Services – up to 10 successful potential providers.
- Lot 5 Civil & Structural Engineering Services – up to 10 successful potential providers.
- Lot 6 Building Services Engineering - up to 10 successful potential providers.
Potential providers can bid for all Lots, although there are restrictions on the number of Lots they can be appointed to.
