Anglian Water tenders £15m energy efficiency and optimisation contract

Anglian Water has gone out to tender with an AMP6 energy efficiency and optimisation framework contract worth an estimated £15 million.

The water company is seeking to appoint up to ten suppliers to the framework agreement envisaged which will run for five years. The initial contract period is 3 years with 2  further 12 month extension options.

Estimated total value of the contract is put at between £10 million to £15 million.

Anglian Water is looking for companies to provide a wide range of services  for identifying and delivering energy efficiency and optimisation projects and savings across the whole of its region, including:

  • Site optimisation and energy efficiency services;
  • Fresh water site and service optimisation and efficiency;
  • Water recycling site and service optimisation and efficiency;
  • Borehole efficiency;
  • Aeration optimisation;
  • Pump efficiency;
  • Data expertise; sourcing, monitoring, analytics related to energy efficiency;
  • Process knowledge/engineering skills related to fresh and waste water site optimisation and energy efficiency;
  • Process performance analysis related to fresh and waste water site optimisation and energy efficiency;
  • Dashboard/reporting — it solutions- related to fresh and waste water site optimisation and energy efficiency;
  • Development of optimisation plans;
  • Process performance monitoring;
  • Instrumentation, control, automation (ica) expertise.

Contractors will be expected to have in-depth process knowledge of their selected areas.

Anglian Water said service providers from various industries can express their interest provided their expertise is transferable to one or more of the areas.
