Bristol Water has awarded two AMP6 Capital Projects contracts for UV water treatment plant construction work at its Barrow Treatment Works worth a total of nearly £5 million.

BAM Nuttall Ltd has won a £3 million contract for the Civils Works on the UV Installation at the works – the firm was one of five suppliers to bid for the work.

Bridges Electrical Engineers Ltd was the successful supplier for the Mechanical, Electrical and ICA work at Barrow – one of four companies in the bidding for the £1.8 million contract.
