Wessex Water has awarded a contract for leakage detection services to RPS Environmental Management Ltd worth an estimated £3 million.

The framework agreement is to support Wessex Water's in-house resource for leakage detection services which includes the provision of leak detection and pressure control technicians including all relevant equipment and vehicles throughout the Wessex Water region. There is no fixed programme for the services which will be required on an ad hoc basis.

Warrington-headquartered RPS Environmental Management Ltd was one of four companies in the bidding for the work.
