Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for tertiary nitrification and solids removal technologies worth up to £25 million which could run for eight years into AMP7.
The water company is looking to appoint up to 8 suppliers to the framework agreement , which is worth between £15 million to £25 million.
The framework is for to supply and install tertiary nitrification and tertiary combined solids and nitrification as follows:
a) Remove Ammonia.
b) Remove Ammonia and Solids combined.
(Solids removal already exists on all the sites)
Suppliers will also be required to provide maintenance and critical spares.
The design and installation will be across 18 sites starting on December 2015, with the last one in November 2017.
