Thames Water has gone out to tender with an AMP6 contract for the supply of sewage screens and associated equipment.
Thames is looking to appoint up to eight suppliers to the framework agreement, which will run for up to five years.
The contract is for the supply of new screens and associated equipment to cover Thames Water needs for AMP6 across the whole Thames Water region.
Equipment required includes:
- inlet & storm screens;
- sludge screens;
- CSO screens;
- abstraction screens;
- grit removal;
- screenings handling.
The contract, which consists of a number of Lots, includes the design, supply, installation and commissioning of assets, including the supply of spare parts/components to Thames Water's maintenance suppliers for use on Thames Water assets or to Thames Water direct.
Applicants can apply for any part of any sub-lot, any sub-lot or a combination. All interested suppliers must complete a pre-qualification questionnaire.
The contract will run for an initial duration of 3 years, with options to extend annually up to a maximum overall term of 5 years.
