Thames Water is recruiting key members of the senior team which will be working on its £4 billion Thames Tunnel super-sewer project.

Ofwat is consulting on a proposal to grant SSE Water a variation to its appointment to enable it to provide water and sewerage services to a site called Kennet Island Phase 7, in Reading.

HSBC Bank plc purchase Cambridge Water.

Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Limited has sold Cambridge Water to HSBC Bank plc.

Thames Water is aiming to become Britain’s biggest on-site solar power producer and industrial user after signing a ground-breaking £7 million deal to install photovoltaic systems large enough to cover 15 football pitches at three key sites in London.
