Bristol Water has launched a new initiative to target local social media influencers and bloggers to comment on its AMP7 Business Plan proposal.
The water company is looking for five – six local social media influencers to work with on its social and community programme.
Bristol Water will be running a Go Social Jam on 24 April from 2.30pm – 4.30pm at its offices to share its business plans with a 30 minute presentation and Q&A.
The utility said it will then use the brainpower in the room to run a ‘Go Social Jam’ to explore ideas of how to achieve its objectives using social media. Ideas generated in the room can be used by Bristol Water.
The firm is also open to ideas where it can work together with the social media influencers in future who will be able to pitch a proposal based on what they hear.
Bristol Water will cover attendees’ expenses for the afternoon with a flat rate of £150. The successful bloggers and social media influencers must be customers of Bristol Water.
