Severn Trent progresses £5m Powys water pipe replacement work

Severn Trent is inviting local people in Cemmaes to come and hear about plans to replace just under four miles of water pipes in the village.

The work is part of Severn Trent’s £5 million investment in Powys, which will see 30 miles of water pipes replaced across the county.

The drop-in session will be held on Wednesday 11 January 2017 at Cemmaes Church Hall between 4pm and 7pm.

Severn Trent contract partners Amey will be carrying out the work for the company, with the Cemmaes section expected to take up to nine months to be completed.
