OIL RIG 1Human pressure on the world's ocean accelerated sharply at the start of the 21st century and shows no sign of slowing, according to a comprehensive new analysis on the state of the ocean by the Stockholm Resilience Centre.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is getting ready to invite applications to attend a researcher – stakeholder workshop on 31 March 2020, focussed on the Sustainable Management of UK Marine Resources (SMMR) research programme.
