World Water Week 2024 takes place from 25 August to 29 August online and in Stockholm, Sweden.

World Water Week has been organized every year since 1991 by Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), which curates the content. It is the leading conference on global water, championing cooperation across sectors and national boundaries.

Hosted by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) - this year SIWI is offering close to 300 sessions on the theme Seeing the Unseen: The Value of Water. 

THEMATIC SCOPE

World Water Week’s 2024 theme ‘Bridging borders: Water for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future’focuses on water cooperation for peace and security. It requires recognizing the regional and global interconnectivity of communities and nations and how water-related solutions are key to delivering the Sustainable Development Goals.
