Customers of South West Water are being invited to help shape the future of their water and sewerage services for the next 25 years.
As part of the 2014 periodic review, South West Water is preparing its vision for services to 2040 and its investment proposals for 2015 to 2020.
The water company’s ‘WaterFuture’ website tells customers how the company operates and outlines the challenges and solutions on aspects ranging from water resources and water quality to customer service, environmental initiatives and renewable energy.
Customers can have their say on issues and the feedback received will be used to inform South West Water's 25-year business vision which will be published at the end of the year.
"It's incredibly important that our customers let us know what they see as future priorities for the provision of water and sewerage services in our region," says Susan Davy, Finance and Regulatory Director.
"Against the backdrop of climate change, population growth and changes to the way the industry operates South West Water is looking ahead to determine the course of action that will best serve our customers' needs while protecting the environment and meeting all of our regulatory obligations. We want to know what people see as the long-term priorities as this will help to develop our investment plans for the short-term."
