Murphy Group, one of the UK’s leading infrastructure and civil engineering companies, has announced that Chief Executive John Stack is to step down at the end of this month.
The news follows on from the successful implementation of the new J. Murphy & Sons Limited board restructure earlier in the year. In a statement, the Group said John Stack has decided to hand over the reins as CEO of the company at the end of September for the next phase of development.
John Stack started his career with Murphy as a Graduate Engineer in 1982 and has been at the Murphy helm for the last 6 years.
Matthew Behan will take over as interim CEO as from the 1 October.
